Hip Flexors; The Beginning of a New Journey

Audrey is a 50+ female that has struggled with her weight since puberty. She started loving food at a very young age. Her mother was a great cook. They were a meat and potato family.

When she hit puberty, Audrey started dating and eating out more and more. She loved food! The food she loved the most was fast food. The problem was, she wasn’t playing outside like she did as a kid. Where was all of that fatty food going to? Straight to the hips!

She fought with this weight problem into her 50s. There were times when she was thinner and times she reached over 200pounds.  In her 30’s and 40’s Audrey’s average weight was 175pounds. Once she hit 50 she was in the 200’s on a regular basis.

She knew she had to do something to keep that weight off. It was killing her knees and she never felt good anymore. She struggled with everything. That love of food was an addiction. When she would stop all the “bad” foods cold turkey, she would cave and go right back to it and gain even more weight.

Audrey decided to give up her soda pop and candy bars that she was eating every day. She replaced it with fruit. She never really exercised much. So this fruit, she thought, was going to help her lose weight was a joke! Sure her body was getting better nutrients, but all the natural sugar from the fruits was making her gain weight.

She was getting even more depressed. Her body was hurting all of the time! Even her anxiety was going through the roof! What could she do? She tried going healthy by giving up the candy and soda. She was eating foods that were good for her.

She talked to her doctor and was very surprised at what he said. He told her that, even though the fruit was better and healthier, the sugars in the fruit were keeping her heavy.

She did some research and found that vegetables were just as important as the fruit. She also needed more protein. And most of all, she needed to get up off her butt and exercise.

She was in a lot of pain when she tried to exercise. Her fat was fighting her every step of the way. She felt like a failure and didn’t know what to do next. She talked to her good friend Asher.

Asher told her about an exercise that would unlock her hip flexors. He told her that many people don’t realize the effects that a person can have when their hip flexors are locked. It can cause nagging joint pain, bad posture, and trouble sleeping, just to name a few. She didn’t even know what a hip flexor was!

She checked into a program that he told her about. It’s called Unlock Your Hip Flexors! She decided to give it a try. Right away she was skeptical. It was on sale and only cost ten dollars. There was a bonus. With that same ten dollars, she also received Unlock Your Tight Hamstrings and 7-Day Anti-inflammatory Diet. She was just thrilled! This was the BEST investment that she is ever made. Everything in the program was designed to do at home without extra equipment.

Let’s walk together!

She is able to move more than she was in the beginning. She is so happy to be started on this journey. She has lost 4 pounds so far and she plans on continuing her journey. We should all consider buying this program before it goes up to the regular price!

If you want to follow Audrey on her journey, just sign up with your email to continue to hear about Audrey.

Everyone’s weight journey is very personal and I want to say thank-you to Audrey for sharing with us. Even though the journey is personal we can help and encourage each other on the way.

Happy Health

My Hip Flexor is UnFlexed!

Are you sitting too long? Does your Butt hurt every time you get up? It could be that your Hip Flexors are out of shape. Many people have never heard of hip flexors. Once I heard about it, I started asking others if they had heard of it. Most said they haven’t.

Do you sit at your job? Are you couch potato? That is how your Hip Flexors get tightened. WebMD is the go to medical site that I trust. They explain what Hip Flexors are. Your hip flexors are a group of muscles near the top of your thighs that are key players in moving your lower body. They allow you to walk, kick, bend, and swivel your hips. But if your muscles are too tight or if you make a sudden movement, your hip flexors can stretch or even tear.

A hip flexor strain can be mildly uncomfortable or so serious that you have trouble walking and have muscle spasms and lot of pain. It can even cause depression, low or no libido, and back pain just to name a few.

More and More people are working from home right now. They are at their computers for more than 3 hours a day. Many of them never even get up to take a break. Then, when the workday is done, move right on over to the couch or chair and sit to watch television for a relaxing evening. Does this scenario describe you?

We all could use a little more movement in our lives! I have just the thing! Unlock Your Hip Flexors! You won’t believe the magic that it does to help your mood and make you feel better.

Wow! What a Great Program!

Unlock your Hip Flexors is so affordable. You also get 2 bonus items. Check it out!

Your Move is Slower than Your Groove

You might be moving slower and not have the same groove as you did before. Not everyone slows down at the same rate. By the age of 30 some of us slow down bit by bit and before we know it we are slow dancing through life.

According to Pub Med, “Aging is the progressive accumulation of changes with time that are associated with or responsible for the ever-increasing susceptibility to disease and death which accompanies advancing age. These time-related changes are attributed to the aging process.” As our bodies slow down, we are vulnerable to many diseases, muscle loss, and many other factors.

It seems that every decade is a changer. Turning 30, 40, and 50 seem to be the big markers. Is it all in our head that we feel different at these ages or is there something to it? According to Psychology Today:

Age 30 – The questions focus on career choices

Age 40 – The questions focus on life purpose

Age 50+ – The questions focus on legacy

I am over 50 years old and I can relate to all of those. So at the young age of 30, your body is telling you to make changes. One of the changes that is significant is staying healthy by eating and exercising to stay fit. We all struggle with that. Especially since the COVID19 epidemic has hit us hard. Everyone is worrying about something.

I want to introduce you to a program called Hip Flexors. This program teaches you about your body and what you’re feeling. It will help you in places you never thought was a problem. Here is what they have to say:

We’re not just talking about a bit of soreness; tight hip flexors are the root cause of problems such as:

Nagging joint pains in your legs, lower back or hips

Walking with discomfort

Hips locking up

Bad posture

Trouble sleeping

Sluggishness in day to day life

High Anxiety

Digestive problems

Compromised Immune System

Circulatory issues

Loss of sexual performance

Lack of Explosiveness in the gym or sports

If any of these sound familiar to you, don’t worry because you’re not alone.

Tight hip flexors affect nearly everybody, but few realize the impact on your whole body.

So you see, your Hip Flexors need to be worked on. If you’re older, like me, then you can relate to at least some of these issues. Check out the Hip Flexors program and give your life new meaning!

God Bless

My Sex Life Fell Apart

There are times in all of our lives when we just aren’t in the “mood”. And those times are normal. Or are they? My friend Lucy has been married for 40 years. She’s one of my best friends and she’s easy to talk to. Lucy asked me one day how my sex life is. I wasn’t shocked but it made me think. My husband and I haven’t been intimate in quite a while. When I say quite a while I mean months! We both have been very busy working and in pain from the day’s work.  He does heavy lifting all day long and I sit at the computer. I told her it’s been a while and said we haven’t really thought about it because we are both in pain when we go to bed.

Together is Always Better

That conversation didn’t settle well with me. It got me thinking about how our intimacy used to be. We used to be intimate every day! No! I am not just talking about sex. That has its place but intimacy, to me, means being close, holding hands, hugging, kissing, making out, and other ways to be intimate. Somewhere along the line we lost being intimate. I want it back!

I talked to my husband and he noticed too that we haven’t been as close. We aren’t as young as we used to be, but we’re far from being “old”.  I started searching the internet. I came across an article about Hip Flexors. I didn’t even know what it was. I was curious because your Hip Flexors control your body connecting the upper part and the lower part.

Hip Flexors control more than just your hips. This is part of the article that I read:

We’re not just talking about a bit of soreness; tight hip flexors are the root cause of problems such as:

Nagging joint pains in your legs, lower back or hips

Walking with discomfort

Hips locking up

Bad posture

Trouble sleeping

Sluggishness in day to day life

High Anxiety

Digestive problems

Compromised Immune System

Circulatory issues

Loss of sexual performance

Lack of Explosiveness in the gym or sports

If any of these sound familiar to you, don’t worry because you’re not alone. Tight hip flexors affect nearly everybody, but few realize the impact on your whole body. Again, everything flows through the hips. Think of the hips as a barometer. The health and flexibility of your hip muscles are an indicator of the strength and health of our whole body.

AND AT THE VERY HEART OF THIS IS THE “HIDDEN” MOST POWERFUL SURVIVAL MUSCLE. WHEN THIS MUSCLE IS HEALTHY OUR WHOLE BODY IS HEALTHY.

I can relate to more than one of these all day every day. How did I not hear of Hip Flexors before? It’s never too late. I bought the program and was amazed at how easy it was. I needed to tighten my core. I worked Hip Flexors into my daily workout and BAM! I am losing weight, my body isn’t hurting near as much as it used to, and even my anxiety is getting under control. More than anything, my husband and I are intimate once more. There is nothing like falling asleep in his arms. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

How about you? Do you fight with anxiety, weight, or loss of sexual performance? Are you having digestive problems?

My suggestion to you is to check out Hip Flexors. It’s very affordable. It cost less than a doctor visit and all the tests they are going to take to see what is wrong with you. Don’t you owe it to your spouse or loved ones to try and be as healthy as can be? Don’t you owe it to YOU?

Just take a look at it and read the whole thing before you decide. I was skeptical too. Now I don’t know where I would be without it.

I hope you feel better! I pray your pain, whatever it may be, settles down or goes away.

God Bless

Julie

I am Fat!

I have fought with my weight since puberty. I yoyo my weight it fluctuates up and down. I am now 53 years old and struggle with health issues. I weigh 220#; I have Celiac disease, Fibromyalgia, and Multi Level Spondylosis.

One day, I was walking and accidently twisted the wrong way and BAM I put my hip out. It didn’t hurt my bones; It hurt my muscle and ligament. It hurt for weeks! I became a couch potato and made the problem worse. I was losing muscle mass and couldn’t move without being in pain. When I moved around I was in pain, when I sat still I was in pain, and even when I slept I was in pain.

My doctor told me that I need to lose weight. She also told me that I need to rebuild my core. If I didn’t do these things I would end up in a wheelchair. She advised me to look at the FODMAP. I also needed to find a way to strengthen my core.

I was out to lunch with some friends and told them about my problem. My friend told me about Hip Flexors and told me that I should try it out. She said that it really changed the way she exercises and stretches. She looked great. She was more active now than she had been in the past 10 years. I felt like she had a secret that she was sharing with me.

I took her advice and looked at the program. I was so impressed! There was so much more to it than I could ever have dreamed of. I like the way they walk you through how to move and what not to do. There was so much information that I had to read it a couple times over. There were so many other issues that that part of your body is part of. Now things made sense. The best part of it was that I owned it. I could now look through my copy of Hip Flexors and help get my core back on track. I was very impressed with Hip Flexors price too. It was so affordable. I even got a discount at the time I bought it.

Are you having problems with your weight? Are you having hip problems? You should take a look at Hip Flexors and decide for yourself if it’s for you.

Light Exercise

I have been to the doctor more times than I can count since January and now it’s almost April! I don’t want to leave my house right now! I am a bit scared about the chance of getting Covid19!

I am a 3rd grade teacher and now I am teaching online. This is kind of fun. The problem is, some kids (and parents) don’t take school seriously! I have already been asked to teach a couple of kids in my house while the parents work. I had to respectfully decline! That was hard to do.

The reason I want to talk to you today is I want to share with you my light exercise that my doctor approved for me to do! First, start off light with yoga or stretching. Do things that feel good and don’t put yourself in pain. I do stretching of my arms and legs before I get out of bed. Next, I stand up and reach for the sky and touch my toes. One thing that really works is Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes! 🙂 Try starting out slow and get faster and faster! I promise it will give you a good workout! The last thing I do is walk! I have a treadmill that I use. I started off with 5 minutes and holding on to the sides. Now I am up to walking a mile and it takes about 20 minutes. No! I am not running a race, but I am making progress in making my core stronger!

I also have been using sassafras root to make my own tea. It smells just as good as it tastes. I don’t even need sugar in it! I am trying to use natural remedies to cleanse my body and make me healthier!

What are we going to do if, the medication we get, stops coming because it comes from another country! No! I am not the kind of person that freaks out over every little germ! I am the person who is trying to think about my future! I am realistic! Please click the link and just watch the video from Dr. Nicole Apelian! She has a book about remedies! The book sells for under $40 and It is well worth the money!

Thank you for looking at my site! God Bless!

Do You Know About The Amazing Pineapple?

DID YOU KNOW ABOUT PINEAPPLES?

Did you know that pineapples are very healthy and can contribute to weight loss? Pineapples have medicinal value and can help with digestion. According to Healthline, “This popular fruit is packed with nutrients, antioxidants and other helpful compounds, such as enzymes that can fight inflammation and disease. Pineapple and its compounds have been linked to many health benefits, including aiding digestion, boosting immunity and speeding up recovery from surgery, among others.”

It has been said by many doctors that vitamin C can fight off many diseases. Pineapples are packed with vitamin C and many other great values. In the article I read from Healthline said, “Pineapples are packed with a variety of vitamins and minerals. They are especially rich in vitamin C and manganese.”  Pineapples are a good source of antioxidants, which may lessen the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and some cancers. Many of the antioxidants in pineapple are bound, so they may have longer lasting effects. Pineapples are especially good for men because pineapples contain bromelain, a group of digestive enzymes that breaks down proteins. This can aid digestion, especially in those with pancreatic insufficiency. One of the helpful reasons I like pineapples is because pineapples have anti-inflammatory properties that may boost the immune system. Bromelain has many healthy factors in it. It can help stress, inflammation, swelling, bruising, and pain after strenuous exercise! It’s anti-inflammatory properties will keep you healthy and can help you lose weight.

Wouldn’t it be great to be able to eat more natural foods instead of taking so many pills? I have to admit that I take a lot of pills because of my condition! But I am ready to go all natural! I want my life back and want to be able to do more than be in a daze and sleep all the time. I am tired of being told that I have to choose how much medicine it will take to help my pain, not get rid of it, just help it and I will have to deal with whatever pain I have! I have found a book that I think you will enjoy reading! It has a lot of tips on eating more natural and what helps pain naturally! That’s what I am doing! My son once told me, “mom you are what you eat”, and that’s the truth!

Besides all of the nutritious values, pineapples are delicious! Some people like them on pizza or eating them plain. But did you know that some people eat them on hamburgers? Yes! I said hamburgers! They eat them with salads, ham, and yogurt! My favorite way to eat them is right out of the can! I also enjoy pineapples with orange juice! I’m hungry just thinking about it.

Fruits for Health and Digestion

DID YOU KNOW ABOUT YUMMY FRUITS?

Did you know that fruit is healthy? Many fruits have antioxidants, Fiber, and are low in calories. I want to tell you about raspberries and blackberries and how they can help you stay healthy. As I grow older, I find that natural foods digest and fill me up much better than “junk” foods.

The first yummy antioxidant is red raspberries! What a tasty treat that can help fight off cancer and keep you healthy! The National Cancer Institute note that antioxidants from dietary sources may help protect the body from lung, esophageal, gastric, and other types of cancer.(1)

In 2010, scientists treated stomach, colon, and breast cancer cells with an extract of Meeker red raspberries. The extract killed more than 90% of the cells.(2) The researchers estimated that antioxidants were responsible for about half of the destruction of breast cancer cells. Breast cancer has taken a couple of my friends! I wish I knew this before so that I could tell them about it!

It can even help you poop regularly! J According to Medical News Today, “One cup of raspberries contains 8 grams (g) of fiber.”(3) For me, staying healthy is important! The problem is that I love food! The more I learn about healthy foods, the more I want to eat fresh and stop eating junk food!

The next scrumptious fruit is blackberries! Yum! This list just keeps getting better and better! According to Healthline, “Blackberries are a great option to satisfy your sweet tooth if you want to lose weight or you’re on a low-carb eating plan. One cup of raw blackberries has only 62 calories, 1 gram of fat, and only 14 carbs. This makes them easy to add to a healthy eating plan.”(1) Count me in for this delicious snack! And here is another fruit that is high in fiber! I can see my poop becoming regular very soon!

I have enjoyed writing this article. I have learned that some of my favorite fruits can possibly prevent me from getting cancer. I have also learned that, while eating these fruits, it may help more nutrients get into my body! The best thing is that I might be able to poop on a regular basis. For those of you who don’t know, an autoimmune disorder means that your body attacks itself instead of letting the nutrients in.

Thank you for reading my blog! I will be getting more information on super foods! I look forward to learning together on this journey of health!

God Bless in all that you do!

Julie
